The videos were written and partially acted by Deaver Brown, the author of the printable books. Deaver Brown is a graduate of Harvard College and Harvard Business School. Brown is a serial entrepreneur who cofounded Cross River, the Umbroller baby stroller company, subsequently sold to Rubbermaid and Newell; he was the first VP of Sales & Marketing for American Power Conversion, APCC, the fast growing and very profitable UPS company; and he founded Simply Media itself in 1998.
